Cable Bay Lands




Cable Bay Lands Inc., a land development company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, proposes
an extensive development plan for the Cable Bay Lands area located in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Where?

The City of Nanaimo is approximately 105 Km. North of Victoria, B.C. on Vancouver Island. In 2003, Nanaimo was recognized by Environment Canada as having the mildest climate in all of Canada. Protected from Pacific weather systems by an island mountain range, Nanaimo's weather is further moderated by a gulf stream in the Strait of Georgia.

Snowfall and freezing temperatures are infrequent. During winter, one can still bike, hike, golf, dive, kayak, and garden, and even ski if you take an hour’s drive north.


The Property

Cable Bay lands comprises of 420 Acres of raw land, located within the City limits of Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. An additional 97 Acres of land attached to the 420 Acres is scheduled to be annexed into the City and will become part of the overall project. With 3,200 square feet of ocean front, the property offers a gorgeous 180 degree view of the water.



Surrounded by mountains, it is the perfect location for boating and fishing, and with extensive pathways, it lends itself to endless walking and biking opportunities. It is also blessed with beautiful lakes, mountains and rolling plains which makes for some of the best year round recreation locations in the world.

The area abounds with majestic trees, many of which are protected. There are also a couple of Bald Eagle’s nests where bald eagles have been nesting for past decades. Cable Bay Lands Inc. is dedicated to preserving these environmentally sensitive areas for future generations, and has already spent thousands of dollars in research on the best way to achieve these objectives.



The Development

Approved first phase consists of 19 spectacular 5 acre treed lots, of which 12 are ocean front. These 5 acre estate lots can be strata titled to 38 2.5 acre lots.

2nd and 3rd phases proposes an extensive development consisting of:
